Ignite 2018 was HubStor's first year exhibiting at the show. We had a blast!

It was a thrill connecting with many HubStor customers, partners, and Microsoft friends.

HubStor Swag

HubStor had some cool giveaways at the show. Most popular were the Traxxas remote control trucks:

We selected the winner of the blue TRX4 crawler, but haven't heard back yet! If by Monday the winner has not claimed the TRX4, we'll be selecting a new winner. Stay tuned.

As for the black Traxxas Slash 4x4, the truck capable of 60+mph speeds, the winner is Marlon Wenceslao, IT Infrastructure Architect at the University of Pennsylvania. As you can see, Marlon was very happy to be the one selected from the crowd by Brad Janes to be the winner:

Marlon was kind to send us pics of his Slash after he set it up with some HubStor decals. Nice touch, Marlon! We hope you have a blast with it.

Azure Data Box Heavy

One of the exciting announcements at Ignite was the general availability of Azure Data Box. Other form factors were on display, now in preview, like the Azure Data Box Heavy, capable of streamlining 1 petabyte of data to the cloud in a single shipment.

HubStor is a certified Data Box partner. Keep an eye out for some amazing promos we'll be announcing around Azure Data Box Heavy that you won't want to miss.

New Addition to HubStor's Leadership Team

During the week at Ignite, HubStor's executive team welcomed Alex Hill, Director of DevOps to the company's leadership team. Alex was previously at Micro Focus where he was a software engineering manager. We're excited he's on the HubStor team.

Ignite 2019

We hope to see you at Ignite 2019.

In the meantime, we should be announcing the winner of the TRX4 soon. You might be it!
